When I first thought about Mars in Taurus, the following sentence came to my mind: ‘Fire meets the earth!’

On the 5th of July, there will be some changes in the sky. As Mercury will start its journey in Cancer (I will write about it tomorrow night), Mars will start its journey in Taurus.

It is interesting that both of the planets will leave their home (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Mars is the ruler of Aries) to move into the neighbouring signs.

And in case of Mars, it will be moving from home team to away team since it will be in detriment in Taurus and might not find a very comfortable expression…Maybe it may a bit\ud83e\udd14

Mars does have this active energy, there is drive, courage, assertion, initiation…And with these traits, when in Aries, it might have really started new projects, has given some courageous energy to the area life it did affect. (Aries house in the chart)

Now, walking into Taurus it might feel like this energy may not find a lot of place to express itself in this grounded, nourishing fixed earth sign. Really?

We may need to accept the fact that we might not continue running on full gear and we sometimes need to give a break, slow down to see if there is anything that was initiated could be turned into something tangible (not necessarily material) and also enjoy the fruit of these projects as well…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, yes Mars might not express its drive and energy at full length in Taurus but may have the chance to have an interval to refuel if we think about Mars as a racing car…

The question is that where is Taurus in your natal charts? Which house? Until 20\/08 Mars will be impacting that area of your lives. And we need to take into consideration that Venus will be the dispositor of Mars in the meantime so Venus way might be quite impactful on how Mars behaves itself.

Mars is a fast moving planet and it does have short transits. So, in the priority list, even though it might not be at the top, still depending on where it touches in the natal chart, it may still be influential in that transit period. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since Taurus is a fixed sign, in terms of major aspects, the fixed sign (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) placements might be impacted the most. This transit will mostly happen in my 9th house and as I am writing down an exam, I can already imagine how things may unfold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, tomorrow night I will write about Mercury in Cancer and will post the 5th of July chart as Mars and Mercury will change signs more or less the same time. And I wonder if Virgo is still working on to give a shape to our emotional realm as order needs to be in place with Moon in Virgo\ud83d\ude09 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
