Patience is a virtue! We have to remind ourselves that everything happens on its own time, and in the meantime we can enjoy the wait…<\/strong>*<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As we are approaching towards the middle of May, the Sun will be soon going through the last ten degrees of Taurus which corresponds to the third decan of this fixed, earth sign. The decan ruler(s) is\/are one and only Saturn both in terms of Chaldean\/Descending order and Triplicity order. In a way, with the image of the associated 7 of Pentacles in our minds, we might be thinking about Saturn in Taurus in this decan. I believe that not everything materialises in a fast way, sometimes it takes time, it requires patience, it requires hard work even though we may think that there will be no fruitful results at the end of the journey\u2026But we still do it, we still wait with the hope of \u2018what if\u2019 or \u2018it did happen before, why not now again?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Considering that Taurus is a fixed sign, there could be the element of being consistent and making sure that whatever we do is sustainable as long as we know when to let go if the things don\u2019t work in the way that we plan! But at the end of the day Saturn in Taurus might tell us that patience is a virtue and every flower has a time to bloom, every fruit has a time to ripen. We don\u2019t need to hurry for the harvest. It\u2019s sometimes possible that we might make the same effort as we did a year before, we treat the soil in the same way we have treated in the previous times but we may need to make some reality check and get prepared for less or none since other parameters might not be the same. We may not be liking surprises but that doesn\u2019t mean that we can\u2019t face them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this note, we may bring the 7 of Pentacles to the scene. There are different interpretations of this card but I personally like the one explained by Robert M. Place in his ‘\u2018The Tarot History, Symbolism, and Divination\u2019<\/em> book which makes more sense to me. Let me quote: \u201cThe addition of hoe suggests that the man is actually a farmer who has worked to cultivate the pentacles, and he is now ready to enjoy the fruits of his labour.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think that what this card might suggest that it may be worth the wait, and while we are taking a rest, we could also contemplate about what we have done so far and what is due to materialise. Ready, steady. and steady again!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, we can have a look at some of the sources and see what kind of images this decan holds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe third decan of Taurus has the face of Saturn. Its name is Erchmubris. It is standing like Saturn with his feet together adorned with rose colored armor. All of its body is human but its head is that of a pig. This rules the climate of the Semiramides.\u201d<\/em> is what is written on Liber Hermetis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Picatrix, there is a part related to colours of the faces and it goes as follows: \u201cThe third face of Taurus is black and is made from burnt wool.\u201d<\/em> Saturn is generally associated with the colour black so in this regard there might be a connection like that.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we read through Agrippa\u2019s Occult Philosophy <\/em>another image comes to the scene: \u201cthe third face, a\u017fcendeth a man in who\u017fe hand is a Serpent, and a dart, and is the\u2019image\u2019of nece\u017f\u017fity and profit, and alfo of mi\u017fery & livery.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think that in the first image, there\u2019s a more lively image compared to the second one. In the third one, there seems to be a blend both positive and negative images coming together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will reiterate what I wrote in the second title and say: \u201cPatience is a virtue! We have to remind ourselves that everything happens on its own time, and in the meantime we can enjoy the wait…\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
