Venus will be in Taurus very soon – Welcome back home Queen in advance!
Hello!
Yes, Venus will be moving into Taurus soon…
When I wrote about Venus in Aries (in Instagram), I had the music ‘I am your Venus, I am your fire…’ in my mind…
Now, probably I will be singing ‘Sway’ with the following lyricsđș(Definitely Dean Martin version)
“When marimba rhythms start to play
Dance with me, make me sway
Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore
Hold me close, sway me more”
âItâs a cloud-swaddled planet named for a love goddess, often called Earthâs twin. But pull up a bit closer, and Venus turns hellishâŠIn some ways it is more an opposite of Earth than a twin: Venus spins backward, has a day longer than its year, and lacks any semblance of seasonsâŠVenus, the third brightest object after the Sun and Moon, was named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty. Itâs the only planet named after a female deity.âÂ

This is the definition put by Nasa about Venus.
How is Venus defined in astrology? In general, Venus is associated with beauty (in every sense), love, harmony, peace, values, aesthetics and during interpretations, ârelatingâ ârelationshipâ may be fundamental with regards to Venus.
However, we have to take into account that there is jealousy, self-indulgence, indecisiveness as negative attributes, too. In this regard, I personally think that even though using a few qualities may form unity in the interpretations, it also narrows our perspective.
I generally feel very much entrapped while trying to use âuniversal keywordsâ especially in case of Venus while lots of versions of expressions are waiting outside for their turns which rarely comeâŠ

Having said that, what about Taurus? Taurus is an earth sign with fixed modality, and the second in place among 12 zodiac signs. It is associated with throat and neck in terms of body parts. They might be sensual and grounded on the positive side while they might be really stubborn and also possessive on the negative side.
It might be difficult to make them angry, but once it is out of leash, it might be challenging to stop âthe bullâ. (As I always mention, this is a general definition and depending on the other placements in a natal chart, we might see a complete different picture.)Â
Why is Venus is the ruler of Taurus? I think it is more related with Taurusâs sense of joy about everything beautiful â people, food, music, etc. As mentioned in Roy Gillettâs book âThe Secret Language of Astrologyâ: âFor Taureans, beauty can be both a blessing and a curse. It is a blessing when Taurus is not enslaved to the idea of possessing it.â Last point in relation to Venus can be the connection of fertility and once again sensuality.
So, when Venus is in Taurus it might be a good period to enjoy the food, people, art and all the other things that we have in our lives.
I think that, depending in which house Venus will be transiting in our charts (in which house is the Taurus?), this might be a really fruitful period especially in terms of relations that may open the way for more grounding and stability.
And when Venus starts its journey, the Moon will be in the nourishing and sensual Taurus holding hands with Uranus in Taurus. Like something which might be really original or extraordinary happening that may have a sudden impact or change in our emotional world but in a grounding way, as if sealing…(marriage or getting proposed, a contract turning a temporary position into a permanent position…)
Well, we will see what Venus in Taurus will bring us eventually. If anything particular happens in my 9th house and towards the end in my 10th house, I will be telling about it for sure.
Enjoy Venus in Taurus, along with Mars in Aries while Mercury retrograde is still on!
And have a lovely weekend,
Teri
