Tonight, I make an opening with a quote from Predictive Astrology The Eagle and The Lark by Bernadette Brady (Great book 📖):
“Whatever the stage in life, a Saturn transit will have a common theme of work, ‘hard’ work. Under a Saturn contact, a person is held to account, for better or for worse.”
And I will start with a prayer: Saturn please treat me well🙏🏻😉 as it will contact nearly all my chart…

Which day?
The day that Saturn will start its journey in the mutable, water sign Pisces.
When?
On 07/03 at 13:35 UK time.
Until when?
Even though Saturn will move into Aries on 25/05/2025 at 04:37 UK time, during its retrograde period in 2025, on 01/09 at 09:05 it will be going back to Pisces and stay in this sign until 14/02/2026.
These are the technical details when, how long etc. but it is good in understanding how much the impact of this transit will be in our lives even on and off.
Before starting (didn’t start yet?!), I would like to mention that we can’t isolate one transit from the others when we are making an interpretation. As we know, the sky is dynamic, nothing is static, and the planets get into contact with each other and with our natal charts in different ways, playing different levels of importance in particular areas of our lives. (This is going to be a long post I think and now I am having doubts about the fact that if I can make the Full Moon in Virgo tonight as well…)

Authority, limitations, structure, fear, reality, boundaries, organisation, tradition, time are the keywords that come to our minds when we talk about Saturn in astrology…
What about Pisces? The sign that is co-ruled by Jupiter and Neptune…
The qualities that come along with Pisces are generally compassionate, sensitive, dreamy, naïve, highly intuitive…
Can you imagine when this authority figure was nicely moving through home (Aquarius, actually before Aquarius also in Capricorn), in the waters that it was familiar with, now needs to go through this unknown, sometimes veiled, a bit emotional and tidal area of Pisces?
Woooow…
Or is it really a challenge?
For a planet that likes the tradition, control, maybe a bit…
It does feel like a reality expressed in an unrealistic way…
But…
But…
Isn’t it sometimes good to infuse some level of sensitive, imaginative expressions in the way that we manage things? Loose the reins? Bringing some flow or add some intuitive energy to the structures or the reality that we are part of?
Might be…
However, I think that it may be always good to have some reality check during this period keeping in mind that Neptune (in Pisces) may have an impact of some inspiration or fogginess and Jupiter (for the moment in Aries -later in Taurus) may have an impact of growth or over-expansion.
The last generation that was born with Saturn in Pisces was from the period between 1993 and 1996 although due to the retrograde period, some individuals might have Saturn in Aquarius as well.
So, where is Pisces in your charts? Any placements in it? Which house? What are of your lives?
As Pisces is a mutable sign, if you have placements in mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces), during Saturn’s reign in Pisces, these placements might be impacted the most through its journey depending on the degrees and what it might trigger.
As you would see on my template, I have quoted from Roy Gillett about the collective meaning of Saturn in Pisces (it is important since as individuals the societies that we are part of make a huge impact in the course of our lives as we pour our shares back into those societies.):
“Saturn controls modestly and unimaginatively. In Saturn-in-Pisces years, kindness motivates the relaxing of structures, but consequences are overlooked.” Roy Gillett – The Secret Language of Astrology
For example, Gillett writes about 1993-6 period as follows: “The 1993-6 structural reorganisation of the world economy triggered a boom but led to global economic collapse.”
I was 15 in 1993. However, when I was studying Econ at the university, I learnt about all the restructuring process that was going on especially in central and south America and afterwards impacts.
Yet again, Saturn being only in Pisces in that period might not be an explanatory factor on its own. The national charts of the specific countries, how the transits impacted them and what other transits were on the scene in that period might help us to understand the whole picture better.
Thinking that Pluto soon will be moving into Aquarius, and Jupiter will be moving into Taurus, the dynamics might be completely different with Uranus in Taurus and Neptune in Pisces as well.
