First, technical points!
New Moon in Libra…
Here I am with the technical points as it turned into a tradition for me during the new moon and full moon periods.
Oct 10 at 16:49 UK time (BST); there will be a divine meeting in the sky when the Moon in Libra (17°21’) will be in a union with the Sun in Libra (17°21’). As I always say, this reminds me of Hieros Gamos since it is like a sacred unity between the luminaries.
In terms of lunar gestation cycle, the new seeds we might plant during this period might reach a culmination point or have a completion on Apr 9, 2028 since there will be a Full Moon in Libra (20°05’) which is thought to be associated with this New Moon.
This New Moon may be mostly impacting people with natal placements towards the end of second ten degrees of cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) meaning that this new moon will be happening in the second decan of Libra*. Some astrologers might only consider Libra (and Aries).
Having said all, now let’s have a look at the metonic cycle which will take us back to Oct 11, 2007. 19 years ago what ‘new’ was happening in our lives? A fresh page? (That time the degree of the new moon was 17°29’).
It is also worth mentioning that whether there is a direct contact with our natal placements or not, this New Moon will be happening in a certain area of our lives which raises the following question: Where is 17°21’ Libra in our charts? The house it is located in might give us some clues about the area of life.
And if there is a direct contact with our natal placements, the impact might be higher!
I will not get into the details here but when we look at the elemental distribution, there seems to be a balance in terms of traditional planets. Maybe, I should say between the ones that are present in the sky since there is not a single planet in an earth sign. In terms of modality, there is the dominance of fixed signs followed by cardinal signs leaving no place for mutable signs. In addition to these, as Venus is the traditional ruler of Libra, it will be the dispositor of New Moon duo while going through its retrograde period** in the sign of Scorpio.
So, what could all these mean?
I will try to be brief in the interpretation part but I will make an effort to explain everything.
Please stay tuned!
All the best,
Teri

Decan walk and Libra II (Second decan of Libra)
·
3 Oct
The Sun has just started its walk through the second decan ten degrees of cardinal, air sign Libra, and here I am with my humble take on this decan. As the second title explains well, in Libra II, Saturn has whole kingdom of decan rulership to itself. Both in Chaldean/Descending and Triplicity orders, Saturn is the decan ruler. And it’s nice since Satur…

I stayed behind with writing but I believe that retrograde periods might be good times to pick up from where we left especially as in my case if they are happening right in the heart of third house which may represent the area of communication (oral or written) among other things.
