This post will be about the upcoming New Moon in Aquarius.

I will make something different tonight by giving details as titles and bullet points.

Technical points:

• New Moon in Aquarius on 09/02/2024 at 22:58 UK time.
• Sun in Aquarius conjunct Moon in Aquarius (20°40’) – like a divine meeting in the sky, the day meets the night, the dark meets the light, and the silence has a voice.
• In terms of lunar gestation cycle corresponding dates and degrees are: 1^st quarter -09/11/2024 (17°19’ Aquarius), Full Moon – 09/08/2025 (16°59’ Aquarius) and 3^rd quarter -09/05/2026 (19°14’ Aquarius) First quarter may be acting upon the new seeds, third quarter might be like reconciliation of everything so far while Full Moon is the completion or the peak of this New Moon.
• Recurring number 9 in the dates: 9 associated with Mars energy so action, bravery, drive maybe a bit of impatience and aggression? Going back to my Tarot numerology notes and thinking of number 9 trumps and pips: fulfilment, endings, spiritualism?
• Metonic cycle – 08/02/2005 (any significant event in terms of initiations or fresh beginnings?)
• As Aquarius is a fixed sign, natal placements in Aquarius and Leo around 20°40’ might be affected most by this New Moon. Taurus and Scorpio might be added to the equation.
• In which house is Aquarius in natal charts? This shows the affected area of life.

New Moon meaning and interpretations:

• New starts, fresh beginnings, initiations.
• However, sometimes for something new coming into our life might mean saying bye bye to something else!
• As Aquarius might have qualities associated with collective, social groups, we might think of initiations in that sense where new involvement or collaborations might be possible.
• Moreover, Aquarius can be unusual, unorthodox. In this regard, we might feel the need to express ourselves and our feelings in an unexpected way which may also lead to new opportunities or farewell to some ‘same old same’ things in our lives!
• As Aquarius is co-ruled by Uranus, innovations and rebellious acts might be expected at mundane level as well. Since Uranus is currently in Taurus, these acts may cause sudden structural changes.
• The other co-ruler is Saturn and it is in Pisces. In this regard, there may be a more soft, maybe sensitive side to the reality experienced.
• In the New Moon chart, the Sun and Moon are in conflicting energies with Uranus (Sun and Moon square Uranus in Taurus) as if what is wanting to be manifested, planted, seeded, however we name it is clashing with some more grounded but still unexpected changes.
• The same duo seems to be in good harmony, in agreement with what the life journey may be about meaning that these fresh starts which might include outside the box thinking may be supporting our journey from making compromises for others to taking actions for ourselves. (Sun-Moon in Aquarius sextile NN in Aries and trine SN in Libra).
• There might be a need for adjustment between opening a white page including wider community and our long-term commitments, especially in terms of relationships and our realistic values. (Sun-Moon in Aquarius semi-sextile Venus in Capricorn)
• There is quite a lot fixed energy in this chart which may teel us about some level of resistance and keeping the things how they are unless the change is really necessary.
• Air element dominance might point out good level of communication and active energy.
