Chiron stationary direct motion (23/12/2022)

At the moment, so many events are going on in the sky that I sometimes don’t know what to write about first.

As we had Sun entering in Capricorn and New Moon happening in Capricorn this morning, at the same time Chiron’s retrograde motion came to an end after 156 days of journey that started back on 19/07.

I personally like Chiron a lot. I have been reading about it from different sources and the symbolism is fascinating.

When the Chiron retrograde period started, I had posted the following: (some quotes from my related Instagram post)

“Chiron is very interesting both in terms of mythology and also astrology. I remember my mother talking about ‘Şiron’ that’s how Chiron is called in Turkish and that time I was wondering what it is about.

It does have a very deep meaning and should be taken into consideration as much as the other planetary bodies in a natal chart analysis.

Chiron is generally called ‘The Wounded Healer’ but I personally think that there is more into Chiron than this. It is not about only wounds, vulnerabilities…

There is also past and future in it as it might serve like a bridge…

There is mentoring…

Being the key, maverick…

Not only a centaur that is trying to heal its wounds…

In this regard, when we talk about Chiron retrograde, it might be revisiting some of our wounds that we might have preferred to ignore in the past or it might be looking into the teachings, the role we might have played as a bridge, how we might have acted as a mentor in a particular situation…

None of us is 100% perfect…We make mistakes and sometimes we leave these mistakes as they are but time comes and we may feel to correct them…

There might be a lot to process in Chiron retrograde period especially thinking that it is in Aries, as we might be brave to face all I have mentioned above, sometimes we might be impatient or even too aggressive that may make things worse…

Important to be patient and keep a balance😊”

In this regard, I don’t know if any of you have experienced a review period about teachings, wounds, healings, a role as a bridge in the last 156 days in Aries way, it might definitely depend whether the retrograde degrees have triggered certain points in your natal chart or not.

Either way, now it might be the time to move forward keeping all the lessons or experiences from this period and let the Chiron express its original symbolism in our charts meaning in our lives.

As Chiron is moving quite slowly (it will only enter into Taurus in 2026 because of going back and forth in Aries), like the other outer planets, its expression in signs is generally considered as a generational trait. In this regard, the house in which Chiron is placed might carry more importance to understand what kind of an impact it might have in our lives.

Having said, once I had read an article, I think it was an online article (Unfortunately, I don’t remember the source. Otherwise., I would have definitely credited the author.) and I remember that Chiron in Aries was symbolised as band aid affect.

It was being explained that especially in case of situations of wounds or vulnerabilities, since when we pull the band aid as fast as possible, it hurts maybe more but the process will be shorter, so if we react faster and maybe even in a more courageous way, the pain might be less (ideally!).

Now, Chiron started its direct journey (11°56′ Aries) and will continue going direct until 23/07/2023. (19°57’ Aries) (It started with a bit of tension with Venus and in a more harmonious way with Mars.)

So, we might need to see where Aries is in our charts? Which house? What area of our lives might be impacted?

As Aries is a cardinal sign, in terms of major aspects, placements in cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn in the above mentioned degrees, there may be a margin of give or take 1-2 degrees) might be effected the most.

I hope that Chiron direct period might be a good learning period for all of us in the most positive way possible since I believe in the ‘mentor’ Chiron and I also trust its ‘bridge’ quality.
