On 20/04/2023 at 5:17 UK time, a Hybrid Solar Eclipse will occur in Aries (29°52’).
It is good to mention that no eclipse (lunar or solar) happened in the sign of Aries since 2015 and we will have a few eclipses happening in Aries in 2024 and 2025, too. No eclipses happening in Aries until 2032.

Now, we can go back to Solar Eclipse in Aries and its astrology.
Solar Eclipse will happen just after the exact conjunction between Sun and Moon in Aries which we call the New Moon phase.
It is worth pointing out that the degree of both Moon and Sun during this eclipse are considered as the anaretic degree. Anaretic degree can be in simplest term can be explained as the last degree in a sign and here we may be talking about the energy that we spend in completing something, like the peak before we start something new. In this regard, the level of adrenaline might be high.
Having said that, what does a Solar eclipse mean in general in astrology?
Solar eclipses tend to have more importance than a usual New Moon phase. The reason for this is that in terms of impact, they may lead to more crucial turning points in our lives in terms of new beginnings, initiations, starting a new phase.
This Solar eclipse happening in Aries might give us an idea of an energetic, active, driven type of a new start keeping in mind that it might turn into something impatient or aggressive as well since Aries carries the last two qualities, too.
However, as Mars is the ruler of Aries making it the dispositor of the Moon in Aries and since during the eclipse it will still be moving through the sign of Cancer, we may think that the level of the energy that might come out of Aries may be slowed down, may get more charged with emotions.
Mars will be squaring Chiron so that it might bring our mind that there may be some energy that is in conflict with our past wounds or lessons or how we would like to make a bridge from the past to the future. Moreover, we have the Pluto in Aquarius that will be squaring both Sun and Moon in Aries in addition to the Nodal Axis. (Sun and Moon will be conjunct and opposed to NN and SN respectively.)

This may bring us the idea that whatever new start that may happen with this solar eclipse, will be stressed with the unusual transformation that Pluto in Aquarius might be carrying. We may also think that all these may play an important role, like a milestone in our life path, how we get out of our comfort zone moving to the future pushing our limits This might not be an easy start or may not be leading to some smooth initiations in the following months BUT it is always in our hands to turn some tensions, conflicts into a more powerful, useful energy.
However, this is the general picture based on the interaction between the planets in the sky at that moment.
The important thing is how this solar eclipse may be connecting with our natal charts, meaning with our lives and impacted areas. For this, it is important to know where Aries is in our charts, in which house in the mentioned degree (area of life.) And as Aries is a cardinal sign, especially the placements in Libra may be impacted from this solar eclipse as well. (We may consider Cancer and Capricorn, too). As the solar eclipse will be happening in the last degree of Aries, the placements in the first degrees of fixed signs, especially Taurus and Scorpio may be triggered by this event, as well. (I am so happy! it will pick up my natal Mars in Libra and my natal Jupiter in Leo…)
It is good to mention that in terms of metonic cycle, 19 years ago, on 19/04/2004 there was a partial solar eclipse in Aries (29°56’) as well. However, the sky was different at that point there was a harmonious aspect (on the wide side) between Moon, Sun and Pluto and a more conflicting energy between Moon, Sun and Chiron.
