Pluto (Rx) going back into Capricorn – 11/06/2023
Pluto going back into Capricorn after its grand entry into Aquarius on 23/03.
After the start of the retrograde period on 01/05, Pluto will continue its retrograde motion in Capricorn starting from 11/06/2023 at 10:36 UK time.
Even though the retrograde motion will end on 11/10/2023, Pluto will go back into Aquarius only on 21/01/2024.
So, can we say that going back into Capricorn might bring back the hidden or forgotten memories back from the Pluto in Capricorn period that started in 2008?
The sky is different from that time but we might still experience some similarities…
At this point I would like to quote some part from my blog about Pluto in Aquarius (I remember that the night before Pluto’s ingress into Aquarius I was still trying to finish the piece I was writing after 11 pm):
“Pluto…The God of wealth…Also, in association with the Greek counterpart Hades, it is the God of underworld keeping in mind that Hades was at the same time a psychopomp…
In astrology, the keywords that we can associate with Pluto might be transformation, determination, power, intensity, death, rebirth, destruction, putting down taboos, invisibility….
…I am thinking how Pluto in Capricorn might have felt…
Capricorn might be associated with qualities such as ‘hardworking, structured, conservative, strategic, ambitious, patient even though sometimes too demanding, bossy not very much on the positive side…
We are talking about a period from 2008 until late 2024. (on and off due to retrograde periods.)
I am neither a mundane astrologer nor a historian.
However, as I was working at the bank (2003-2013), I remember the hell the financial sectors in Europe and Middle East (actually the whole world such as the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers in US…The excessive lending was the main issue…Nevertheless, I felt this region more, ‘why’ I am just going to explain) were going through towards the end of 2008 when Pluto re-entered into Capricorn for good?!after the retrograde period.
I was working in the financial institutions, and I was responsible for Middle East and Italy, lottery!
Overtimes, writing letters, writing limits, cancelling limits and more…
It was a very challenging period…(Maybe it was the sealing of my Saturn return as well!)
Completely system changing…
Forcing the financial sector to transform in a way that new rules, new restructuring programmes, new packages had to be created giving the message to all the world ‘you were on the wrong way, now I will straighten you up, you need to be resilient, you need to work hard, put effort…No easy money…’
It is true that the economy is very important in the development of the nations…
In this regard, it was a ‘test’ period for the world…

Pluto was maybe testing how far it might push, it might go and express its power in a Capricornian way…And it continued for years…
We have to consider that during this period, the sky didn’t stay static…It continued moving…”
In this regard, in terms of mundane, we may still expect some level of instability followed by restructuring in the financial markets especially when the reins might be a bit loose with Saturn in Pisces, Saturn being the dispositor of Pluto in Capricorn.
Having said that, how might Pluto retrograde feel in general?
Again quoting from my blog:
“…As I always mention, during the retrograde periods there is a sense of ‘re’ depending on the expression of the planet in question.
Let’s think about Pluto…It does represent transformation, determination, power, wealth, rebirth, putting down the taboos, death (not necessarily physical one), intensification and even invisibility (thanks to myths, lot of possible expressions…)…
…If we think about the Capricorn part of this retrograde period, do we need to re-determine some structural developments especially in terms of finance or readjust the strategical plans or moves we make in certain areas of our lives?
I think that the list of possibilities and examples might be quite long.
In this regard, it is good to mention that we always need to pay attention where Pluto is placed in our natal chart and which house it is ruling as well…
…We have to think about retrograde periods as a time of stopping, the planet may not be expressing itself in the best and efficient way it does during the direct motion period, but everything happens for a reason. There might be a need for reflection and slow down…”
In this period, Pluto will go back to 27°53’ Capricorn. In this regard, if we have any cardinal (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) placements around this degree any fixed placements at the beginning degrees of those signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius), our life might be impacted depending on the life area (the houses in which Aquarius and Capricorn are respectively.)
Looking at the ingress chart, Pluto will be still squaring the Nodal Axis, a type of push-pull effect that might be felt on the life path. It will have some harmonious aspect with Mercury that will shortly go into Gemini, it is like an alignment between this idea of restructuring and our mindset. Some effort demanding harmony between this financial redetermination and our compassionate dreams…And some tension between how we would like to readjust our plans and how we would like to expand our vision in a grounded way.
The opposition with Venus is still there but that impact will wear out soon.
Moon will be in Pisces at that moment so there will be this emotional approach that may have a positive impact on this serious attitude of Pluto.
Maybe you won’t believe, please believe me😊)) it will be my Lunar return and transiting Neptune will be still embracing my natal Moon along with nice vibes from transiting Pluto…
Well, well, well…
Hopefully, the financial markets will not get shaken so much and I wish that Pluto in Capricorn might act as a nice pushing energy in our personal lives.
