Saturn retrograde period in Pisces (17/06-04/11/2023)
Good evening,
As you may recall, Saturn started its journey in Pisces on 07/03.
Even though Saturn will move into Aries on 25/05/2025 at 04:37 UK time, during its retrograde period in 2025, on 01/09 at 09:05 it will be going back to Pisces and stay in this sign until 14/02/2026.
On 17/06 at 18:27 UK time, the Saturn retrograde period in Pisces (07°12’) will start which will continue until 04/11 (Pisces 0°30’).
I don’t know how it felt these three months and a bit for you since Saturn’s ingress into Pisces. Depending on where Pisces is in your charts and also if Saturn has been picking up any natal placements, everyone might be having a different experience.

Isn’t it sometimes good to infuse some level of sensitive, imaginative expressions in the way that we manage things? Loose the reins? Bringing some flow or add some intuitive energy to the structures or the reality that we are part of?

However, I think that it may be always good to have some reality check during this period keeping in mind that Neptune (in Pisces) may have an impact of some inspiration or fogginess and Jupiter (for the moment in Aries -later in Taurus) may have an impact of growth or over-expansion…”
Thinking about all this, now Saturn will start its retrograde motion. It might be a period that the planet seems to be in a waiting position, not reflecting its full potential or expression in a way.
In this period, we might expect slowing down in certain areas of our lives. We may also have to revise the way that we face limits, and also how we might regain discipline in certain areas…
Since it is in Pisces, we may need to reconsider some ambitions set based on our intuitive energy.
Since the start of the Saturn in Pisces period, it is possible that we might have just decided to go with the flow in some of the structures that we have or we might have let loose our understanding of ‘time’ or some limits that we have put might have become blurry.
The retrograde period can be useful in retuning ourselves with ‘real’ life, reorganising certain aspects and reconsidering our boundaries, limits.
The retrograde Saturn will be in touch with few planets in the sky. It will be in sextile with Jupiter in Taurus (exact sextile will happen on 19/06) and it will be still squaring Mercury in Gemini. Much more harmonious contact with the planet of expansion, growth, wisdom, long journeys that is in the steady, nourishing mode while a bit conflicting contact with the planet of communication, ideas, trades, short journeys that is in a speedy, rational, social mode.
If you have any placements in mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) in the above mentioned degrees (I always repeat the scene with Robert de Niro – “Are you talking to me?”), then this retrograde motion might have a more impact in your lives.
Slowing down might help us in understanding period.
