Virgo Season (23/08-23/09/2023)
Good morning,
When I started writing this post, the Sun officially moved into the sign of Virgo and it will stay there until 23/09.
So, welcome to Virgo season with its all glory of retrograde planets😊)
That’s what it is. However, we may also consider this period for reconsidering different aspects of our lives which is not bad, right? We need reviews from time to time about our efforts, the transformation we might be going through, our ideals, our values, our ideas, the big changes and the past…
After a short talk about the planets with retrograde motion, let’s have a look at the Virgo ingress chart.
Yes, I have balloons at the background, very literal…Since I am a Virgo Sun, I wanted to make a small favour to the Virgo Sun fellows😊))
Chart I was saying…
It is a Libra rising chart. On one hand, it does have a sense of seeing life more in balance, trying to catch harmony, even making necessary compromises to keep this harmony going although it has to be kept in mind that the moment that the scales are not equal, every action might be taken to bring the scale back to equality…Meaning? Meaning that the compromise may be out of the table that moment…
We need to taken into account that the chart ruler will be Venus which is in Leo with retrograde motion. So, there might be a sense of re-evaluation of our creative values and relationships in general depending on how Venus in our natal charts play out, we may need to know how Venus expresses itself in our lives and what impact it makes in different areas (the houses that it rules in our natal charts).
Having said that, Moon is in Scorpio in the 2nd house. It might be the case that emotional security and the acknowledgment of the self-esteem might be really important as well as the sense of security that might come through financial resources, too. However, we may also think that there might be a need for this deep, emotional connection as well.
Sun is in Virgo, it feels strange to explain this as if I am trying to explain myself to everyone. I will make a quote from an old blog of mine:
“So, when you think of your friends and acquaintances who have Virgo as Sun sign, they are: analytical, practical, efficient, but they may overthink, may be too perfectionist or picky. Overall, as it is an Earth sign, the way that they show their feelings or affection may not be as it may be expected from a Water sign that appears to be more emotional. However, this is the general definition, a Virgo with the rest of the chart filled with different elements, signs, aspects etc. may not show many traces of Virgo as well.”
We have to consider that it is a mutable sign, too. In that sense, there might be more flexibility on their side.
Coming back to the chart, the Sun is shining on the 11th house in Edinburgh chart. In this regard, it is possible that the friends, social groups and wider community may be the focus during this period in a Virgo way.
When we look at the elemental distribution, there is a slightly more earth dominance followed by water. In this regard, it might be more private, more yin energy and more reflective sense as well during this Virgo season. And also there might be chance of more grounding and tapping into the inner world ,too. Not much action or too much interaction or communication, exchange of ideas going probably or at least we need to make a lot of effort to activate these energies…However, to be honest, with all these planets with retrograde motion, that might be the purpose of Virgo season…Reflection in short…
How about the modality?
There is a dominance of mutable modality, followed by fixed and the least is cardinal.
When we reflect on, we reconsider things we may need to be ready to change, to adapt, right? In this regard, mutability seems to be supportive for our reflection period, too.
I think that I will be wrapping up here as I will not go into the details of the aspects in the chart, some I already covered in the Mercury retrograde post.

Bu arada posttaki haritanin arka fonunda balonlar var, evet iltimas gectim Gunes’I Basak burcunda olanlara kendim de o grupta oldugum icin, hafif simartma diyelim😊))
Sezon haritasina bir goz attigimizda Terazi burcu yukseliyor, Ay Akrep burcunda ve de Gunes Basak burcunda.
Zarif Terazi yukseldiginde her ne kadar hayata daha esitlikci, adalet yanlisi olarak bakilsa da bir noktada eger terazinin kefeleri yerinden oynatildiginda daha farkli bir bakis acisi yerini alabilir…Dengeyi tekrardan saglamak adina…Venus Terazi burcunun yoneticisi bu durumda haritanin da yoneticisi, ask, uyum, iliskiler, degerler hepsine evet ama yeter ki yapilan fedakarliklarin karsiligi adalet olsun…
Ay Akrep burcunda oldugundan dolayi, daha derinden baglanma soz konusu olabilecegi gibi, bulundugu hayat alanina bakarak duygusal anlamdan ve bazen de maddi anlamda guvencede hissetmek onem tasiyabilir bu donemde…
Gunes Basak burcunda dedigimizde akla ne gelir? Analitik, pratik bir yandan da bazen herseye gerektiginden fazla kafa yoran, mukemmeliyetci birileri de akla gelebilir. Sonucta, bunlar genel ifadeler haritanin tamamina bakmadan sadece Gunes burcuna gore yorum yapmak, her zaman soyledigim gibi, tam bilgi vermeyebilir soz konusu kisi hakkinda…
Haritada 11.evde Gunes bu anlamda Basak stilinde arkadas gruplarinda ya da sosyal ortamlarda daha etkinlik soz konusu olabilir.
Genel olarak hem elementler hem de modalite acisindan baktigimizda retro atmoseferini yansitan, ‘yin’ ozelligi tasiyan, daha ice donuk, yeniden degerlendirmeci, dusunen bir tablo var gibi gozukuyor…
