New Moon in Virgo and Mercury stations direct (15/09/2023)
15th of September…
As I have mentioned before, this date seems to be an interesting and important date.
Why?
Thanks to the New Moon in Virgo (21°58’) and Mercury stationing direct (Virgo 8°00’) happening in the same day, at 2:39 and 21:21 UK time respectively.
As both events are happening in the same day, I decided to cover them in the same blog.
And also since they are both occurring in the sign of Virgo, it might be an important day for the people who have placements in Virgo around these degrees (although for Mercury direct motion, it will be from 8°00’ forward) in addition to the ones who have placements in mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) around the above mentioned degrees, too.
At this point, I am asking myself ‘Are you talking to me?’😊)) as surprise surprise I, of course, do have placements around these degrees like the New Moon nearly happening exactly on my natal Sun.
Having said that, let’s start from first New Moon in Virgo.
Himmm…
New Moon, as I always mention, might be about fresh starts, new beginnings since the moon is starting a new cycle once again.
This is the point that the Sun and Moon are in unity, hand in hand…Meaning that our emotional responses and our identity point at exactly the same thing, whatever is happening is ‘unanimous’.
It is good to mention that whatever starts on this New Moon, the completion or the peak of this energy might be experienced on 14/03/2025 when the Full Moon in Virgo (23°56)’will be happening.
Coming back to New Moon in Virgo?
Virgo might be about service, healing, as much as it might carry qualities such as being analytical, methodical, efficient, perfectionist, meticulous, overthinking!! at the same time. Let’s not forget that it is referred to as ‘the scribe’ because of jotting down, record keeping.
So, this might be a good time to think ahead thoroughly, make plans in a detailed way, analysing things and maybe writing down one by one…
It is also worth noting that the dispositor of this New Moon would be Mercury in Virgo getting ready to station for direct motion. In this regard, to think about things twice, to communicate our intentions in a more cautious way may be good as well…
Looking at the chart of the moment, it is good to see that the Sun and the Moon will be in harmony with the sense of growth, transformation and sudden changes (although Jupiter, Pluto and Uranus are all with retrograde motion, so all these elements might be in a much slow motion and review mode) forming a an earth grand trine which might be a grounding and stability bringing formation as well.
On the other hand, there seems to be a need for balance between this meticulous new way forward and our ideals which are also under revision but which might be appearing with more clarity at the moment. (Sun and Moon opposing Neptune Rx)
As it has become a tradition on my side to ask about 19 years ago (metonic cycle), once again I am asking if 19 years ago anything specific happened, a new start, a fresh beginning making an important impact in a particular area of your lives? (Depending on where Virgo in this degree is placed in your charts – the house)

How was your Mercury retrograde period? (Let’s remind ourselves that stationing direct doesn’t mean that in one day everything will go back to normal. Actually, now the post-shadow will be starting which will continue until 30th of September. We may still experience the impacts of the retrograde period in that sense…)
I personally got most annoyed with the fact that the ‘perfect’ flow of communication disappeared from my life in this period…I was still continuing to write e-mails and if I get any, answer them right away…However, I always got delayed answers or sometimes didn’t receive anything at all… And catching all the red lights on the traffic was one of the highlights as well.
Well, I hope that everything will slowly go back into the old routine and we might all welcome that perfect, in good order communication and mindset back into our lives.
Mercury is speedy but we need to give it a bit of time to get its speed back. The post-shadow period might also be a good period to put into action what we have reflected on during the retrograde period.
At the end of the day, Mercury retrograde periods happen at least three times per year so they are part of our lives and we need to learn how to live with them and get the best out of them when the Mercury slows down and gives us the chance to ‘rethink, reanalyse, reflect’…

Bugun ilginc ve onemli bir gun gibi gozukuyor…
Neden?
Cunku ayni gun icinde hem Basak burcunda yeni ay gerceklesecek (21°58’ Basak) hem de Merkur gezegeni ileri hareket icin istasyon pozisyonuna gececek (8°00’ Basak).
Bu baglamda, eger Basak burcunda ya da diger degisken burclarda (Ikizler, Basak, Yay ve Balik) bu dereceler civarinda yerlesimleriniz varsa (ote yandan ileri hareket anlaminda 8 derece sonrasi Basak burcunun sonuna kadar olan her derece kapsam alaninda olacak), bu olaylar sizzler icin onem arz edebilir.
Yeni ay dedigimizde genelde akla gelen yeni ya da taze baslangiclar olabiliyor. Basak burcunda oldugunda ise ileriye donuk detayli planlar yapmak, ayrintili, ince ince dusunmek, herseyi analize etmek, belki de baslayacagimiz yeni konular hakkinda herseyi kalem kalem yazmak akla gelebilir…
Bir de soyle ilginc bir detay var. Bu yeni ayda baslanacak ne varsa (Basak burcu bu derecede haritanizda hangi evde ise yani hangi hayat alaniniz etkilecenecekse), bunun tamamlanma ya da zirveye ulasma enerjisi 14 Mart 2025 tarihinde gerceklesecek olan (23°56’ Basak) Basak dolunayinda gerceklesebilir. Bu tarihi de not almakta fayda olabilir.
Yeni ayin olustugu an haritasina da baktigimizda yeni ayin kahramanlari olan Gunes ile Ay’in genel anlamda gokzyuzu ile bir uyum icinde oldugu gorulmekte olup, hayaller idealler gezegeni Neptun ile orta yolu bulma cabalari oldugu soylenebilir.
Gelenektendir diyip, 19 yil once onemli bir olay baslangic oldu mu hayatlarinizda diye sorarark hepinize iyi bir yeni ay dilerim.

Teknolojik ya da iletisimsel aksakliklar yasadiniz mi? Varsa vallahi vaktiniz varsa yorumlara not dusun lutfen, okumak isterim.
Ileri harekete gecmekle tabii ki hersey anindan normale donecek diye birsey soz konusu degil…Zaman alabilir…30 Eylul’e kadar yavas yavas hersey rayina oturabilir…Merkur’e hizini geri kazanmasi icin biraz zaman vermek lazim olabilir.
Bir de soyle dusunelim lutfen yilda en az 3 kere Merkur geri hareketi meydana geliyor, bu donemlerle yasamayi ogrenmek lazim, yavaslamak lazimsa yavaslamak, oturup bazi seyleri yeniden degerlendirmemiz gerekiyorsa degerlendirmek yerinde olabilir…Her bir donemin, gokyuzunde meydana gelen olaylarin hepsinin kattigi bir anlam var hayatlarimiza…
