Venus in Virgo / Venüs Başak burcunda (09/10-08/11/2023)
On Monday, 09/10/2023 at 02:11 UK time Venus will start its journey in Virgo and will stay in this sign until 08/11/2023.
This one will be really a big shift as thanks to the retrograde period Venus has been for a long time in Leo. To be exact, since June the 5th, Venus has been in Leo. As you may remember, especially the Venus retrograde was a big theme during the summer ‘Venus retrograde is approaching’ ‘Oh it is Venus retrograde’ ‘8 year cycle, what happened in 2015?’ etc.
As all these have been already discussed quite a lot, let’s be practical (yes the Virgo Sun is talking😊))) and move on to the next stage.
The shift is big first in terms of time. Isn’t is true that when it is longer the impact of the energy feels more permanent and impactful?
The other thing is that Venus is moving from a fire sign into an earth sign, and changing modality from fixed to mutable…From a more active energy to a grounded energy…Also, while there is a shift from ‘let me keep things as they are as long as I don’t have to or there is a good reason to do so’ mood to ‘if necessary, let’s do this, let’s change, let’s be flexible’ mood…
And it is worth mentioning that Venus is thought to be in fall in Virgo as it is exalted in Pisces which is the opposite sign of Virgo. Might not be comfortable for Venus to express itself? I personally believe that this way or that way every planet makes an expression in every sign and sometimes we need to be more flexible with these categories and not to be impacted very deeply…That’s what I think…
Having said that, finally Venus in Virgo…
The other day I had a good brainstorming about Venus in Virgo thanks to a dear friend while explaining different possibilities of this placement.
It is true…
Before all, even though we try to see the positive side of the things, we always need to keep in mind that planets and signs have both positive and negative expressions and qualities respectively. There is no black and white…
Venus is not all and only about love or relationships as Virgo is not only the tidy one who likes cleaning (not at all, ask me I will tell you that no, no, no! I like having clean things but tidy is open to discussion:)).
When I wrote on Instagram story that I would be soon posting about Venus in Virgo, I had asked ‘Is there a practical love?’
I believe that there is…
Not everyone shows their love, how much they value someone or something in the same way…
But practical?
Do we think that if we work in the kitchen whole day to ‘perfect’ a recipe and make a surprise might be a demonstration of how much we love someone? I would say ‘definitely’.
Or might it be the case that we put a whole bookcase in order so that our children or our husband/partner/significant other don’t need to do that? It is very methodical way of doing things to express our appreciation for someone…
Or we may just be valuing the service, perfection or we might be finding peace in routines or rituals or in a healthy hike…
Or art may connect us to nature, to earth and might give us grounding…
So many possibilities…
There might be a sense of service as a healer when relating to other people…
It is worth noting that the dispositor of Venus in Virgo is Mercury which is in Libra. So, actually there is a mutual reception between Venus and Virgo as the Venus is the dispositor of Mercury in Libra. There might be a good, supporting connection between these two planets.
Coming back to Mercury being the dispositor, we might think that balanced thinking, diplomatic way of communication may be influential on the expression of Venus in Virgo, too.
On the chart of the ingress, there is the exact Pluto square Mars which might be a significant conflict between the idea of power and drive…It is really quite powerful…As Mars is in Libra, the hope is that diplomatic action may overcome the destructive power…
Venus is sextile Mars so we might say that there might be a nice harmony between the values and the actions taken if we put some effort for this potential harmony.
Venus will be opposing Saturn, squaring Uranus and trining North Node. Taking all these into consideration, it is possible to say that there might be the need for a balance between the relationships and how we express boundaries. There may be a conflict between the values and sudden structural changes…And the way that we approach love or art in our lives may be in a beautiful harmony with our ‘individual’ way forward…
Overall, it is worth reiterating that Venus is playing an important role in the sky as it is the ruler of South Node, and the dispositor of Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus (Rx)…I don’t know if love, harmony, peace, art are in the air or everywhere but what is for sure is that Venus is everywhere😊))
So, if we have any placements in mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces), this transit may have a more impact on our lives keeping in mind that even though it is a short transit, it is a big shift after a long time.
And since we are talking about Virgo, depending on where Virgo is placed in our charts, we might have an idea which area of our lives might be affected by this transit. The natal Venus, the houses that it rules and its all interaction with all our chart meaning with all our life play a crucial role in the interpretations.
I hope that Venus in Leo period has been fruitful for you all including all the retrograde motion and Venus in Virgo might bring a different and good aspect.

Daha aktif bir enerjiden daha saglamci bir enerjiye gecisle birlikte ‘gerekmedikce hicbirseyi degistirmeye gerek yok’ modundan ‘gerekiyorsa daha esnek olmak mumkun, degisimse degisim’ moduna da gecis soz konusu olabilir.
Venus Basak burcundayi aciklamadan once Venus aski simgeler, Basak burcu titizdir diye gecmemek lazim…
Hem Venus hem de Basak burcu bu kavramlardan cok daha fazla…
