Full Moon in Gemini (Cold Moon ) – (13°03′ – Dec 4)
It has been a long time that I haven’t posted on my website blog. However, today I ended with such a long text that I decided to use my own platform for Full Moon in Gemini.
Here we go!
Full Moon in Gemini…
The last Super Moon of the year! And even though it is not completely full yet, it looked beautiful today both during the day and the night.
As I already covered the technical details (please have a look at my related post on Instagram), now it is time for the interpretation part.
This is probably more like a personal experience but I always feel like that I am really being listened to by the moon during the full moon phase. I think that it is because the full moon resembles a face and as if someone is looking at me with full attention, with bright open eyes and standing there to hear what I have to say.
So, we will have the full brightness of the moon illuminating our paths during the night, at least it will be around midnight in this part of the world. I don’t know whether everything will be crystal clear or not but…
But it will be a moment of culmination and at the same time completion of the first half of the journey since the new moon. Since we are talking about a journey, maybe we should go back to the seed moment, when everything started. What did we plant? Why did we start this journey in the first place? What kind of experience we had so for, until this peak moment? Do we need to change anything? Do we need to end things or leave anything behind? What did hinder us, what did help us to thrive? Why forward? Because we still need to complete the rest of the journey to finish this cycle and start a new one.
I always give the bell curve example. I think that things settle down in me better when I have some analogies which make sense, at least for me. We are at the top of that bell curve, not that beginning or end of the cycle are necessarily outliers in this case but just that we have this hill to climb up and later climb down and the top is the Full Moon.
Anyways, it seems like that we may need to find some answers for the questions above.

While we are thinking about them, let’s think about the Moon in Gemini opposing the Sun in Sagittarius.
My humble intake about opposition or polarity is always around finding the middle way, trying to create balance as much as we can. We can either continue holding on to our version of story at each end or find a solution to meet these both ends. I was born during Full Moon and believe me, it is easier to resolve things rather than letting them linger!
I think that Moon in Gemini might be about creating this sense of security via communication, mental stimulation and social exchanges where words and ideas may have crucial roles. When there are things that evoke our curiosity, then it might feel safe. And as Gemini is a mutable sign, there could be always enough room to shift as adaptability could be part of the inner voice. So, when we started the related journey back in June 2024, we probably had plans, had hopes, and now what is it that we might need to give up, what we may decide to keep with us? I believe that where Gemini is in our charts could give us a clue about the area of life.
But we said that opposing Sun in Sagittarius…There could be a lot of active energy, truth seeking, exploration involved within the way people express themselves, demonstrate their identity with a Sun in Sagittarius. It is true that there could be a target to be hit by the arrow coming out of the bow but I believe that once the journey starts, it just starts and the path may eventually take us to different destinations. It is more about the journey at the end of the day…The meaning, the experience that it will add to us, not rational mind like in Gemini, but more philosophical approach…And since Sagittarius is also a mutable sign, change of plans, flexibility might be part of the plan with no problem at all!
And this opposition might feel like the polarity between the rational mind and philosophical, explorer’s mind…One is about the satisfaction of our inner world, the other is about to cherish our outer world where we shine.
However, as I mentioned before, here the important thing is to pass the bridge, not to get stuck in the middle…So, maybe a bit of compromise on both ends may not be bad at all! Yes, we can do it, 47 years of personal experience is telling us so:)) (47 years is my age, not my experience in astrology!)
Moon will be disposited by Mercury in Scorpio so those deep digging and surfacing hidden messages in the world of ideas and communication might play an important role in this Full Moon.
And the Sun will be disposited by Jupiter (Rx) which will be in Cancer so reflecting on the past experiences, our history, our tribe to find our sense of belief, meaning in life to move forward might be impactful on this Sun.
It is also possible to say that the water element of these placements may in a way calm things down a bit especially thinking that one is retrograde and the other one is just out of retrograde period, but still in the shadow period.
Having said all, looking at the chart the Moon and the Sun are only in touch (obviously with each other) with Venus among the celestial bodies in the sky though they have this conflicting connection with the nodes of the Moon as well.

Meaning?
Himmm…Without getting into any jargon, it is possible to say that whatever this balance we would make an effort to create so that we might see way forward, may not be in total agreement with the life journey that is being drawn in the sky at the moment…At one hand we are being called to move from a practical foundation to a more spiritual one to unite with the collective and to hone our skills around empathy, compassion. However, there is one end where the Full Moon in Gemini is occurring, the idea, the rationality, mental power may be taking priority.
So, how do meet the ends here? There is kind of a pull and push effect in the sky and we may need to find a way to get more powerful out of this polarity and/or conflict. Easy? Never said so…Possible? Yes, why not!
And coming back to Venus…The way that we relate to other people, the way that we value things in our lives…It looks like that our rational inner voice may not agree with this ‘let’s experiment new things, let’s see the bigger picture’ type of relationship approach which could be completely in sync with our self-expression in a certain area of life though…So, coming back to ‘let’s find the mid-way’ and adapt as much as we can since we still have way to go!
Famous Grand Trine is still up in the sky. That could be asking us to be mindful and be careful not to get lost in different moods of other people, not to carry the emotional weight of the rest of the world even though it could be a period of seeing through every single thing going around in certain areas of life at the moment…
We are the only ones who could take care of ourselves in the best way possible so we should protect our energy!

As we are missing the earth element in this configuration of the sky, we may need to make much more effort to be practical, to make sure that our feet stand steady on the ground! And since the mutable modality is very dominant, even though flexibility is good when necessary, we might need to refrain from making a lot of shifts and focus our energy on consistency and leadership as well during this Full Moon…
Not full rational, not full adventurous, somewhere in between to be able to collect the fruit of what we have planted back in June 2024. In a way, temperance could be the keyword!
Have a lovely Full Moon ahead
Teri
