Venus, Mercury changing signs while Uranus

stations retrograde…

Tomorrow, Sep 10, seems to be a day of changes in the sky before the New Moon in Virgo on Sep 11. How? Let me start with technical points so that we can understand the areas of life that might be impacted, which days we may need to pay attention to more etc. And from there for each change, I continue with the interpretation.

Venus will be moving into fixed, water sign Scorpio – one of the leading actors of my ‘water series’ – at 9:08 am (BST) but will not move into Sagittarius until Jan 7, 2027. Why not? Because there will be a Venus retrograde starting on Oct 3, 2026 (from Scorpio 08°29′ back to Libra 22°51′) and ending on Nov 14, 2026. Venus is going to re-enter into Scorpio on Dec 4, 2026. I am planning to write about Venus retrograde when the time approaches. The retrograde period will literally start on my Venus return.

So, how do we know Venus in Scorpio? What might a Venus transit imply? Venus is thought to be in detriment in Scorpio, not a very comfy place for the symbol of peace, harmony, aesthetics, beauty Venus. Venus could be about relationships, the way we relate to people and the way we value things in our lives. In this regard, with the change of signs as it happens with every planet, we look at things from a different angle, with a different perspective and probably in a different area of life (I say probably because it might depend on the house system being utilised). Maybe this Venus transit could be a reflection on how we build up relationships, how we approach love and what kind of value we give to certain things or to certain people. We might be interested in having very strong, stable, in depth connections for which we may be ready to get exposed to vulnerability. It could also be a good period to deep dive into our understanding of values in a certain area of life. If we are involved in any artistic activities, it could be the case that we may feel the need of being guided by our soul, our intuition, our power or where our memory leads us. This might be valid for relationships and values as well. It might be a good period to leave people or certain values that we might have held on for a while in terms of ‘cleaning the skeletons in the cupboard’. Now it might be the time to let them go even though it may be a challenging process for us.

Now let’s look into Mercury moving into Libra. As I mentioned at the beginning, this will also happen on Sep 10 but at 17:21 (BST). A 20 days stay in this cardinal, air sign. After that it will move into Scorpio and that’s when we will have the third and last retrograde period of Mercury in 2026 but that retrograde period will be the subject of another article. I believe that during Mercury transits, we might have different ways of relaying our ideas, the way we communicate, the way that we choose our words oral or written may take different forms. Our ideas, our way of communication could be balanced, diplomatic, harmonious and based on the concept of ‘justice’ during Mercury’s journey in Libra. Our thinking process might be based on embracing and focusing on the wellbeing of others. This could also be a period when we find ourselves writing, formulating or thinking about some contractual relationships.

And the last guest of our day is Uranus which will have a retrograde period in Gemini from Sep 10, 2026 (05°41’) until Feb 8, 2027 (01°40’). Like in all retrograde periods, we might be called to take a break, to slow down, to reflect on what we have done so far; in case of Uranus in Gemini these might be focused on important mindset changes in a certain area of life. What was our wake up call and how did we react to that ? Were we rational enough when we were dealing with sudden changes or while being caught by surprises? Or maybe we decided to go down the rabbit hole and got beaten by our curiosity, and ended up not responding fast enough. Lot of things to think about, to revise, to replay in our minds but in a slow pace so that when we revisit the same points, we may know and understand better!

All the best,

Teri
