A fresh start or ending to have a new beginning?
New Moon in Virgo…
New moon might mean planting new seeds, starting a new phase in a certain area of life. However, is it supposed to be a 0 km beginning? Not necessarily, we might be ending something, leaving it behind and this could be a way to move on! Or it could be really brand-new. Either way, we might start walking in a new path in a certain area of life. In this regard, it could be useful looking into the house where Virgo is in the mentioned degrees in my technical points post (I have to say that new moon chart based in Edinburgh does have a lot of similarities with my natal chart).
In this new beginning, sense of service, routines, healing, simplicity as well as the need for being efficient, practical, organised and maybe perfectionist might be starting points. At the same time, it could be a path where we may need to keep in mind that the plans may require flexibility, the path might need adaptability and we may be in a position to make changes if necessary.
I think that this possible new start in a certain area of life might be quite aligned with our efforts, our drive to create a safe environment for our loved ones, in the place we feel belonged to like home or our instinctive way forward of taking care of others and being taken care of at the same time. This might require a little bit effort but it might be worth the sweat. As if healing or a new routine being initiated during this new moon might benefit us as well as the people we care about.
It might be worth mentioning that our ideas, our way of communication which could be balanced, diplomatic, harmonious and based on the concept of ‘justice’ may be quite impactful on this new beginning. This could mean that if we decide to take a new step forward, plant new seeds, our thinking process embracing the wellbeing of others may play an important role in this initiation. There could be an idea of a contractual type of relationship present in this new moon as well.
Having said all, as this New Moon would be in the second decan of Virgo, I would like quote from my related article on Substack in relation to the associated minor arcana card the 9 of Pentacles :
“Would you ever imagine that a money tree will grow on a barren soil? I personally wouldn’t but even the possibility gives some hopes. This is the point when we might all realise that those long days of work, sometimes with boredom, sometimes with repetition, were worth something. At the beginning, when we start seeing the results, we may well be surprised, maybe we won’t believe that our dreams are coming true, our hard work is paying off, maybe we will be in doubt and say that this is not real! However, when the reality hits, we may value this result more than anyone else knowing we have come so far and we might build on this more while enjoying the benefits. It’s like sometimes we make an investment of money or time not expecting much in return. However, when the return comes, we may not let the capital slipping away from our hands. We may enjoy some of the interest or some part of the harvest making sure that we put some back into the capital to make it grow, not letting it to stay as a one day dream.”*
Maybe this New Moon might be really ending an era of hard work and finally starting to enjoy the fruit of those days, years in a new pat; still without giving up on our usual rituals, routines and work towards achieving the ‘perfect’ if there is really any perfect existing…
This time I kept the interpretation limited to New Moon duo’s direct ‘major’ interactions in the sky being aware of the current planetary cycles going on and I am not going to elaborate further.
It’s possible to say that all these will eventually carry us to Mar 11, 2028 when there will be a Full Moon in Virgo and we might be able to collect the fruit of what we plant in this new moon.
Once the dark side of the moon starts turning into light with the crescent moon, we may see the picture ahead much better. I hope that we may all have a great start with this new moon.
