Venus goes direct while Jupiter goes retrograde (04/09/2023)
Tomorrow (04/09) is a big day in the world of retrogrades. As Venus will be stationing for direct motion at 02:20 UK time (Leo 12°12’), Jupiter will be stationing for retrograde motion at 15:11 UK time (Taurus 15°34’) keeping the number of retrograde planets the same😊))
A lot of time and explanation spent on Venus (in Leo) retrograde, especially thinking about the Venus retrograde 8 years ago.
I don’t know how Venus retrograde period passed for you all, in terms of re-evaluation of your understanding of love, reconsidering your creative values and even your approach to love, harmony or aesthetics. I think that this might depend on a lot the natal position of your Venus, the sign, the house that is in and the houses that it rules in your natal charts. Not very simple, much a complex structure to be considered…
I think that to associate Venus only with love or relationships, especially one-to-one relationships feels like not giving the real value to this planet…It is more than that…
Having said that, if you ask me how it went for me since 23/07, especially considering its contact with my Ascendant, I feel that I had the chance to think about my priorities. How? What do I value more? What kind of values should I be more creative about? Did I overvalue something in the past that maybe I shouldn’t anymore? I thought about these a lot and I think that I made some kind of peace with some of the subjects that were causing concern especially about my life expectations…Hopefully, I can really contain that inner peace, fingers crossed.
If you have any stories or decisions or reconsiderations related to this period please share, I will be happy to read them.
And when the Venus stations for direct, meaning that it will start expressing itself better and in a usual way, we might find ways to realise the fruit of this reflection period.
What about Jupiter retrograde?
Jupiter might be associated with expansion, growth, meaning, wisdom, faith, beliefs, long distance journeys or spiritual journeys, philosophy in positive terms…On the less positive side, there might be arrogance, exaggeration, overexpansion can be involved, too…
Let’s see what I had written about Jupiter in Taurus both in personal and mundane level during the start of the period back in May 2023. Quoting from my blog:
“…I think that we might expect some kind of growth that may offer a sustainable path for us. We may start a real or a philosophical journey as a result of which we may feel nourished and grounded. We may find much more meaning in the values we hold on to. However, as a side effect of Jupiter we may need to avoid overwhelming ourselves and maybe others and as a side effect of Taurus, when it is not possible to keep, we may need to give up on being ‘stubborn’ not to be affected in a negative way…
We may see some growth in particular areas of food industry, maybe some launching of new products. Especially, when there will be Jupiter-Uranus conjunction on 21/04/2024 (21°49’ Taurus), we may hear about some innovative developments as well thanks to the involvement of Uranus.
I also think about the expansion of lands, borders since there is a sense of going beyond the borders for Jupiter and there is the idea of land with Taurus. And yet again, during the Uranus-Jupiter conjunction, we may hear some news, broadcasting of some kind of annexation.
Moreover, there might be some movement in the financial markets. However, we may need to be careful since the beginning of June Pluto will re-enter Capricorn, still retrograde and we might not be expecting a rise in the markets, instead even some level of crash before everything goes back to track. Later, it is possible that some level of improvement and stability can be contained.
And coming back to Uranus-Jupiter conjunction, Uranus is associated with astrology and this makes me think that as a conjunction may symbolise the start of a new cycle, there could be an increase in the number of the people who ‘believe’ in the persistent energy of astrology. We may also see that there might be more progressive approaches in astrology being expanded to larger groups and obtain a more grounded position more than before…”
Lots of brainstorming about Jupiter in Taurus…That was the period that I had handed my mundane astrology assignment, I can see where all this talk is coming from😊))
Well, so when Jupiter is retrograde then what will be the reflection about? Again, we may need to consider the natal Jupiter and its connection to our lives in terms of its impact in different areas of our lives.
We might need to reconsider our philosophical or spiritual journey we may be thinking that would bring us grounding…Or the meaning that we give to some physical environment that we are part of or belongings that we own…
There might be more examples or manifestations of this retrograde period that will continue until 31/12/2023 (05°34’ Taurus).
The way forward for Venus in Leo will mostly make an impact on the fixed placements (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius)around the degree and ahead of that degree mentioned above.
In terms of Jupiter, again the fixed placements in the above mentioned degrees will be impacted the most.
I hope that everyone has benefited the most out of Venus retrograde period and will benefit from the slow down of Jupiter in the same way, too.
