100th year of Türkiye Cumhuriyeti (Turkish Republic) and The Lunar Eclipse connection

As some of you might remember, during the elections back in May, I have written a blog about Türkiye and its chart in line with the elections. (I have posted during the 2nd round of the elections, too.)
However, as I always say, I am not trained as a mundane astrologer (although I finished a whole module about it at the Faculty and submitted a detailed assignment on the subject) and I am at the moment more focused on natal astrology and forecasting techniques, and my practice is based on these areas.
I am also very interested in the decans as I do use them in the Tarot readings, too. I am slowly reading much ancient sources about the decans to have a much deeper understanding of them and to be able to use them for the sessions as well.
Having said all, I still like looking at the country charts from time to time and since I was born and raised in Istanbul, I wanted to make a brainstorming on the 100th anniversary chart of the Turkish republic. It is a huge milestone.
I have to say that I look at the 20:45 chart on 29/10/2023 when Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was declared as the president of the Republic and I personally believe that Turkish public (The Moon) may be expressed better in Cancer rather than Gemini.
The interesting thing about this year is that the Lunar Eclipse is happening just on the Sun of Türkiye (Moon in Taurus will be opposing and the Sun in Scorpio will be conjunct the Sun of Türkiye ). In that chart there are some other significant factors as well. The Nodal Axis and the country chart’s Mercury-Saturn interaction is very tight. The transiting South Node in Libra is conjunct the Republic’s Mercury and Saturn in the 4th house (it is the house of link to the ancestors, history and also might be a symbol of national pride keeping in mind that it is at the opposite side of the 10th house which might be the government) and transiting North Node in Aries in the 10th house is opposing the Republic’s Mercury. And the transiting Pluto in Capricorn which is squaring the transiting Nodal Axis is also squaring the Republic’s Mercury and Saturn.
I think that the Lunar eclipse might feel like the releasing of the fundamental nature of the nation (the Sun) and giving more power to the hand of the public (the Moon). However, it should be more balancing than instead of taking from one passing to the other side…There might be an expectation of significant changes in that sense and it is crucial that it is happening on the 4th-10th axis.
And the connection of the transiting Nodal Axis and the transiting Pluto with the historical way of leading education, communication, trade (Mercury) along with the tradition, institutions and also the law enforcement of the Republic seem to be quite important. Pluto in the 7th house might be a symbol of the complete transformation of the foreign relations and also agreements and this may cause tension about the traditional way of trade and institutions. Moreover, even though the diplomatic history may be in support of how the education, communication and law enforcement, the civil authorities, the self-centred progress might not be in line with this, contrary it may seem like a hurdle for the future reputation of the country.
Another important point about Türkiye chart is the 2nd Chiron return. I think that 2nd Chiron return might be usual for countries, but not very usual for the people.
The entry of the Chiron return started on 25/04/2023 and the first exact hit happened on the day of elections which was 14/05/2023. The second hit happened on 04/10/2023, and there will be still another exact hit on 15/03/2024 and the exit will be on 02/04/2024. It is actually a very prominent placement in the chart as it is placed in the 10th house, the house of the government and also the reputation of the country.
In the Chiron returns, there is a tendency to look backwards, the past, the lessons, the vulnerabilities and we draw an action plan for the next 50 years. In some sources, it is also written that it is a period that the people tend to go through plastic surgeries, it feels like a reconstruction of how we look.
For a country, I assume that it might be a reconciliation of the past 50 years, the period between 1973 and 2023 for Türkiye, and see what happened and what action plans can be taken to finetune the public image, reputation since it is especially the 10th house placement for the Turkish republic.
There is also an intriguing factor about the secondary progressions which is the ongoing New Moon phase in the 8th house (as it might be about the national debt, some crisis, it may also be indicating a rebirth sense).
In the Solar Return chart, which resembles the eclipse chart (you may find my detailed blog about the Eclipse in my website), the Sun is in the 2nd house, the house of the economy, resources, along with the Mars (the fighting spirit, assertiveness) and Mercury (trade and commerce)…There might be some very intense focus on the economy along with a deep sense of purpose and in depth analysis of what can be done to move forward. However, it is worth noting that the Mars will be exactly opposing the Jupiter (belief systems, growth and also sense of freedom) and the Moon (the Turkish public) in the 8th house. I think that when there might be some real power in putting things in terms of economy might not be quite in sync with the public’s understanding of growth that is after a rebirth like a Phoenix. In the 2nd house we have the SN and in the 8th house we do have the NN. I mentioned the Nodal axis and Pluto before but I need to tell that on this chart Pluto is in the 5th house squaring the Nodal Axis and this might point to a very important changes in the creative spirit of the nation and sometimes in the symbolism of the inner child of the Republic.
It seems like that very important changes might be on the way in the distribution of the power and how the economy is managed with a great impact of transformation in the foreign and contractual relations.
I still wonder how the progressed New Moon might play in the rebirth of the nation…
