Astrology: Planets, Signs and Houses

Where to start and how to start?

I assume that some of you have already tried to get your natal charts in a free database such as Astrodienst, Cafe Astrology or Astro Seek etc. The question is that when you get your natal chart ready with a report attached, how much of the content is easy to understand for yourselves?

I hear some of you saying ‘nothing, it is like a complex mathematical equation’ or ‘a bit, but still not clear’ but of course we find a few that can say ‘everything is clear for me’ without being involved in astrology.

Well, in that big circle called ‘natal chart’ we see lots of symbols, numbers, degrees etc.
The symbols which are called ‘glyphs’ demonstrate the planets and the signs. The numbers show either the house number or the degrees.

I may go into the details of a chart in another blog, but today I would like to make a short introduction to planets, signs and houses after this long introduction🤦‍♀‍😀😀😀

I have probably mentioned on our Facebook page facebook/tpastrotarot before.
Planets are the leading actors, in a way everything revolves around them. They are the answer to ‘what’. This means that we learn about the characteristics, qualities so they are generally represented with ‘nouns’. However, these actors make more sense when they can express themselves.

That brings us to ‘how’ part represented by the signs. Since it is how, we can use adjectives to explain how planets act in the signs.

The last part is ‘yes, you are acting and expressing yourself beautifully in the signs dear planets but where does this expression occur?’ The houses nearly scream, here, here. Exactly if we want to know, which part or area of our lives are affected by these expressions, we should look at the houses.

According to the school followed by an astrologer, the amount of the planets, dwarf planets and star numbers may vary in a chart so in some charts you may have more content in this regard. Nevertheless, the number of the signs and houses are fixed, 12 each.

On a side note, there are different House systems. This means that different methods may be used to divide the 360 degrees into 12 houses. I personally use Equal / Whole House system so every house has 30 degrees equally. And I am happy with this division in the chart interpretations.

Well, I am sure by now you are already overloaded with information. If you have any questions, please always feel free to ask.
